Video Essays

Two video essays created at the University of Denver as projects to demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator, as well as an exercise in scripting and storytelling. Below are two short synopses of each video. 

A Single Strand of Hair: A deep dive into the long history of the utilization of hair as evidence in court. This video focuses upon a specific instance, namely Alice Vest, whose killer was convicted and sent to prison due to hair left behind by the suspect. 

Dataville: A video which inspects and criticizes the burgeoning field of data centers, and the effect that even a single data center can have on the environment around it. This essay utilizes both qualitative and quantitative research in order to formulate a thesis upon the development of data centers, utilizing a fictitious city to further illustrate the point.
